FAQ's

Where are you based and do you travel?

I''m based in London, UK if shooting at the Studio and yes I love to travel! If you want me to capture your day at a location of your choosing, it may require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the most cost effective way so it works for all budgets. Get in touch to discuss your plans.

When will we get our photos?

This will depend on the service being provided and will be discussed with you upon booking. Most services average 3-5 days depending on volume, You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 2 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season and service. When ready you will be notified and be able to download all the photos from the gallery.
If you need images quickly for a special occasion or project please discuss this at your initial consultation.

How many pictures will we receive?

This is something that vary's and is usually discussed upon our initial consultation based on which moments we are creating unless you have picked one of our standard packages then it will be as advertised. For a standard Event this will depend on the hours coverage, on average an event can receive from 200+ edited images on events 5+ hours or more. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.

How much is your services?

In my free initial consultation we will discuss the service you require and how and what you require the images for, factoring in your budget and any additional accompaniments you may like such as Wall Art. I always ensure to offer the best value for your budget delivering quality and service tailored best to your needs.

How do I make payment?

This will be discussed upon booking, for standard portraiture sessions, a Deposit is taken on the date of booking and the remaining balance paid within 48hrs of the Session completion. For Events or Commercial work please refer to your contract for details. All details will be outlined in your invoice for your convenience and peace of mind.

Terms of Service

Please Refer to your contract/Invoice for further details on what has beenm agreed for your service.


This contract will be only communicated with the person who made the booking and payment.


Deposit : A non- refundable 20% deposit secures the booking and will be deducted from the final fee, the date is then excluded from the calendar and as preliminary work such as sourcing accessories, equipment required ahead of the shoot etc. The remaining balance is then due within 48hrs of the shoot completion for personal shoots and within 14 days for corporate shoots.


Quotes provided are valid for 28 days, after this time a new Booking request will need to be submitted.


Additional Services

Any additional services requested other than those outlined in the original quote will be charged. For example if additional time is required due to late arrival or more people turn up than was initially quoted for. This will need to be agreed upon in writing at the time of session or no further work can continue.


Confirmation – Payment of a deposit / confirmation email / written communication serves as agreement of terms and conditions and a confirmed booking.

Copyright, Infringement and Trademarks

In line with the Copyright, Design and Patents Act 1988, all images are the copyright property of 'Laura Rose' of The Pink Rose Photography. Copyright is the intellectual property right that authors have in the work they have created. “Authors” in this case refers to the photographer. Images are licensed to the client for use as specified, and by the named client only. The Client may not sell, distribute or otherwise sub-license any images without written permission from Laura Rose of The Pink Rose Photography, who is to be identified as the author of the images. The Pink Rose Photography maintains the right to use these images for marketing and promotion, which may include but is not limited to social media such as instagram and facebook, websites, news articles, marketing videos, leaflets, albums etc.

Obligation:

After consultation and agreeance to continue with your intended service, I will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that time and date, that cannot be fulfilled by The Pink Rose Photography. For this reason, the Reservation Deposit of 20% is non-refundable, even if the date is changed or cancelled for any reason. Extreme rare situations will only be reviewed on a case by case basis and are at The Pink Rose Photography's Discretion.

 

In the event of a national lockdown, or National Emergency that restricts both or either parties from fulfilling the contract. The booking will be rescheduled free of charge to a date within 1 year of the original booking. 

 

Deposit

The Deposit is to be paid at the time of accepting the contract. The deposit is applied towards the contracted photography package or final balance as set out in your invoice. The Client understands and agrees that the entire amount owed for the photography package described in the contract/invoice is due within 48hrs of the event completion date for Personal shoots and no later than 14 days for Commercial shoots, Images will not be released until full payment is satisfied and Images will be held and disposed of within 30 days if no further contact or payment is made within the time period specified. For Late payment there will be a fee incurred at a rate of £12 per each additional day.

All deposits / booking fees are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed.


Invoicing 

Any queries the client may have concerning invoices should be addressed to thepinkrosephotography@gmail.com within 14 days of the date on the initial invoice or sooner if the event is in a closer proximity, otherwise this invoice will be regarded as agreed by the client.     

  

Payments  

Payment is DUE no later than 14 days after shoot completion for corporate shoots. All other payments due 48hrs after the shoot takes place for personal shoots with Deposits due upfront on the date of booking your intended session.

Payments should be made by BACS to the account details provided on your invoice.


Delivery of your Images

Images shall be provided electronically via a download gallery link, unless otherwise agreed beforehand. Clients will be sent a link to download images and should download within 10 days of receiving this link. Images should then be stored for future use by the client. The Pink Rose Photography will keep these images for a limited period normally no longer than 28days before they are deleted. 

Failure to save/download these images by the client / failure to download within the time period that later results in loss of the images is the clients responsibility and The Pink Rose Photography holds no such liability.


If images are lost or not saved for these reasons outside of the expiry period, an additional admin fee will be required to resend images , requests made after the detailed Max expiry limit will be unrecoverable.
